(Visited March 1984)-  I visited Yosemite with my late husband.  We were so lucky to have spectacular weather; it was warm and sunny during the day and the water falls were full due to the early thaw.  The nights were below freezing, but we were cozy in the Yosemite Valley park lodge where we stayed at off-season rates.  My husband was the photographer in our family at that time.  I was the bored assistant then, but now as a photographer myself, I finally understand the patience and hard work it takes to make great photographs.  I was able to dig out a few prints that he took during our visit.  I wasn’t able to find the negatives, but I did scan the prints and brought them into Lightroom to do some minor edits.

I can’t wait to revisit Yosemite to create new memories with my own photographs.
