I consider myself a semi-professional photographer. I absolutely love to take photographs, and will always shoot for pleasure and for assignments that bring me and others joy. I found my true passion in photography in 2011 and had been only able to do it in my spare time due to a demanding corporate career. In early 2015, I decided to retire from my corporate job of over 33 years so I could focus full time on photography. Up until 2015, my training had been a combination of numerous university courses, workshops, Meet Up Groups, camera clubs, on-line classes and shooting everyday I could. Soon after retiring, I took a more serious step by enrolling in a 3-month Summer Intensive Photography course through the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, MT. I lived in Missoula for the summer and immersed myself in all aspects of photography. My skills improved, more importantly, I learned that the learning will never stop! My favorite genres of photography include Landscape, Street, Cityscapes, Photojournalism, Documentary and Macro.
